Christ’s Care Cycle // Philippians 1:9
We see in today’s verse that love is the central component to the communal life with Christ and the people God gives us to do life with. Paul prayed that love would abound, meaning it would spread exponentially, growing, and making greater impacts with each and every encounter. But that wasn’t the only concern Paul shared — he wanted people to grow in knowledge and insight of God. The thing that is so cool to me is that all of these are inextricably linked. The more we love, the more we know of God as love, and how we can express that love to others. This becomes a care cycle where we know God cares for us and calls us to that for others. So, what can you do today to live into Christ’s care cycle? It will change your life, and the Lord will use your changed life to help change the world.
