Call on Jesus // Romans 10:13

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Everyone?

Yes, everyone.

Will be?

Yes. Not could be, would be, might be, or should be, but will be!

How? Why?

Not how or why, but Who.

Jesus.

“There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Jesus’ very name means salvation, which is why Joseph was told by the angel “to give Him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21).

So, what am I to do?

Well, it’s as simple as learning your ABCs:

• Admit you are a sinner in need of help;
• Believe in Jesus as God’s One and Only Son, raised from the dead; and
• Call on the name of Jesus.

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!
