Beyond Comorehension // Isaiah 55:8
Today’s verse really gets my brain going. God’s ways are “far beyond” what we can imagine. I don’t know about you, but I have an active imagination and can imagine quite a lot. This verse comes in a section of Isaiah where God is pushing the people toward true meaning. We see God challenging people to not waste their precious resources (time, energy, and money) on things that don’t really matter. We also see a challenge to seek God while He can be found. These three ideas work together to get us to focus on the Lord and allow that to direct our lives toward the things that truly matter. God will be found when we seek Him with all of our heart. Then, the eyes of the heart will be able to experience things beyond comprehension once they are enlightened. So, what do you need to do today to refocus your life on what really matters? What distractions do you need to set aside in order to seek God with all you have and are? How can you imagine your imagination pushed beyond comprehension? Let’s live into that wild adventure today!
