Believe…Trust…Live // John 3:16

John 3:16…the Gospel in a nutshell. Note the action words: God loves, gives, and saves. This is what separates Christianity from other religions. It isn’t about what we can do for God, but what God did for us. God loves you. God gave you Jesus to pay the penalty for your sin. God saves you from your individual sin as well as your entire sin nature. All you need to do is believe. Romans 10:9 states this emphatically, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Believe in Jesus. Trust in Jesus. Live in Jesus.
