Keep Pointing People to Jesus // 2 Thessalonians 3:3
Did you happen to get everything on your wish list? Did you happen to get a gift that exceeded your expectations? What about one you had so much hope in but it didn’t live up to what was built up in your mind? Regardless, have you ever wondered how to keep your faith strong when the excitement of Christmas has passed? Saint Paul writes to the Thessalonian church, reminding them that “the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” Even after the angels have sung and the presents are unwrapped, the challenges of life continue. Christmas is not just a day to celebrate—it’s a reminder that God’s faithfulness doesn’t end when the carols stop. Living with Christmas in our hearts means trusting that the same God who came to us in Christ will continue to strengthen, protect, and guide us every day. Will you make it a point to intentionally carry the hope, peace, love, and joy of Christ into your daily life as regular routines resume? We must remember that our words, actions, or a simple moment of gratitude are living sacrifices that help show people the power and presence of Jesus.
