We get comfortable. We get focused on what we already have. We lose faith that God can do anything new. We lost hope in the idea that Jesus can change a heart. But God . . . God calls us beyond ourselves. God is still in the life saving business. Jesus still died. Jesus still rose. Salvation is still free. As a follower of Jesus, I’m still right in the middle of the story that God is writing in our world.
