To All Nations // Psalm 105:1
The crux of Psalm 105 is to make known the goodness of God to all nations. We live in a world where we can speak to someone on the other side of the world instantaneously or cross the globe in a matter of hours. The people in biblical times could scarcely imagine what technology and travel means to us in our modern world. Consider how much easier it should be for us to do the work encouraged in today’s verse. We can give thanks to the Lord and proclaim God’s greatness in ways that would boggle even my mind just a decade ago. How about you? So, what can you do today to live into this commandment? It’s directly in line with Jesus’ Great Commission — not suggestion — for us to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20, NIV)
