The Holy Spirit PUSH // Pentecost Sunday 2024
The Holy Spirit Prompts
- Reveals, teaches, and *nurdges*.
- John 14:26 (ESV) | But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
The Holy Spirit Unifies
- Weaves us together with God and each other.
- Ephesians 4:3-4 (NLT) | Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
The Holy Spirit Sanctifies
- To be set apart for God’s special use and purpose.
- 1 Corinthians 6:11 (NIV) | …you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
The Holy Spirit Helps
- Infuses our weakness with God’s strength.
- Romans 8:26 (ESV) | Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
